Bookshop - Literatur Moths
My Familienkalender PUNKTE is now also available in this finely & lively selective bookshop "Literatur Moths" near Isartor, Munich...!
I got to know this shop through a book of Büchergilde Gutenberg, which is known for their artistically illustrated and binded books (like good old days, the real books!). The shop's main section is of course books but they have also some ceramics, kitchen accessories, stationeries etc. And it looked to me, they are all chosen with well trained eyes to enjoy life more... When the books were the food, these other things would be some spices, flowers or table cloths and so on, to enhance the whole experience...! Very pleasant and relaxed yet contemporary....and witty. I loved it. And I asked if they would take my calendar. Et voilà! Please pop in :) They have also children's books.

This time it took a bit of time, phew...but here we go, they are available now in 5 columns and 4 columns! (as of 22.09.2016)
The size is only slightly bigger than the last year : 10mm higher, 4mm wider, 240mm width x 340mm hight. I made accordingly each cell higher (though you may not notice it...), so that you can have a bit more space to fill your schedule.
And the page layout of "Regional Holidays & time changes" is also changed. Hope it offers a better overview. It is chronologically, vertically arranged.

Yes, finally we are importing these very modern town shoes and separate toe socks from Japan!!
They are available from sometime in August 2012 at the Museum shop of Villa Stuck Museum in Munich.
Jikatabi is one of the Japanese traditional shoes which has been used by workers, who have to go high up the scuffolding.
Separate toes and rubber sole made them possible to have the bare foot feeling. Thus, allowed more moving flexibility.
What we have here are modernized version and for everybody!
Their colourful and fashionable patterns are so unique that they guarantee an alternative fun next to conventional town shoes!!

It was a try to make a very simple, practical and friendly calendar, which doesn't disturb the harmony of the room and the atmosphere. So, it has become rather generic, nothing too special, but just nicely moderate.
For 2013, it is expected to have some more fun designs...!

Little calender for 2011, each month has different type, layout and of course photo. It was intended to be more of a self-promotional gift, but with practical usage. On the back sides you'll find fine lines with dates, which can be used as birthday-reminder/ or memo / or postcards. It could be also nice to hang on the toilet wall, as you can spend your precious time pondering about your precious people's important days...
